Start your first conversation
Open the voice page, allow the microphone, and start with one memory.
Your first conversation starts from the voice conversation page. Open it, allow the microphone if asked, tap Start conversation, and answer in your own words.
Who this is for
Storytellers recording for themselves and helpers sitting nearby for a first session.
Before you start
- Sign in to Fablr before opening the voice page.
- Annual Access is required to record your own stories.
- Use a device with a working microphone and choose a quiet place if possible.
What to do next
- Open the voice conversation page.
- Look for the heading Ready when you are.
- Tap the round microphone button labeled Start conversation.
- Choose Allow if your browser or device asks for microphone access.
- Answer the first question naturally. You can pause or stop when you need a break.

How you know it worked
The page says Connected and shows the conversation area or recording indicator while you speak.
If something goes wrong
You see Subscribe to start recording.
Open subscription settings and check that Annual Access is active.
The microphone does not connect.
Use the microphone help article, then reload the voice page once.
