Tour 4 · Editing

Edit a chapter.

Changed your mind, or Fablr got a detail wrong? Editing a finished chapter is a conversation, not a form — you just say what’s off, Fablr reads the change back, and nothing is saved until you say so.

What you’ll learn
  • how to open a finished chapter and start an edit
  • how Voice Edit lets you fix a detail just by saying it
  • how Fablr reads the change back before anything is saved
  • that nothing changes until you confirm it
Step-by-step
  1. Open the chapter
In your Library, open the finished story you want to change — say, Meeting John at the church social.
  2. Tap Voice Edit
Tap Voice Edit and just say what’s off: “I was eighteen — not nineteen.” No forms, no find-and-replace.
  3. Hear it read back
Fablr repeats the change back so you know exactly what it will do. Nothing changes until you confirm.
  4. Say yes — it’s saved
Say yes and the edit is written straight into the story, right where it belongs.

Change anything, anytime — it’s your story.
